Have any of you been trying to reduce the toxic load in your home with regards to cleaning and personal care products? I have been very successful at making a lot of cleaning products using essential oils. I love the spray that I use to clean my countertops, which is a combination of water, white vinegar, and wild orange essential oil. I have also attempted to make some homemade hair products. It was fun trying to make a hair conditioner using avocados, but it left my hair feeling unclean and without any bounce to it. I recently tried doTERRA’s shampoo, conditioner and root to tip serum…and they are awesome! They are unlike any other hair products that I have used from other companies. The other “all natural shampoos” that I have tried did not lather and my hair felt dirty and oily after washing. Since using doTERRA’s shampoo (and conditioner), my hair feels so clean (as it should after shampooing, right?) and has been shinier and softer than ever. It has been growing much faster too. I love these products!! I came across the following graphic from www.honeycombmama.com and am eager to try some of these oils with my shampoo and conditioner. I would love to know how they work for you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARE YOU READY TO TRY ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils can be incredibly beneficial for you and your family. Instead of loading up on toxic synthetic chemicals, consider using these life-giving essential oils which have been used for thousands of years for health and healing. The brand that I trust is doTERRA therapeutic essential oils. If you want to get started with essential oils, you can click here to set up an account and get your oils at wholesale (up to 55% less than retail). If you want to start with some great oils, pick up the Home Essentials Kit. The kit comes with 10 essential oils, a 4-hour oil Diffuser, plus you save over $80 off the wholesale prices. I offer free essential oil classes (email me at [email protected] to sign up for a class) and one-on-one oil consultations. Remember...there are 2 upcoming classes. One takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31st from 1-2pm in San Ramon. It is called Cooking with Essential Oils. We will not be cooking during the class, but there will be yummy tastings available to try. On Saturday, June 3rd from 1-2pm there will be a class called Makeover Your Medicine Cabinet with 10 Oils. This class discusses 10 of the most popular oils and how to use them aromatically, topically, and internally. If you are interested, please send me an email and you will receive details about the location. Look forward to seeing you there!
