Tick season is pretty bad this year, but thankfully we have essential oils to help us and our pets. Use the following blend to repel ticks. This is safe for humans and dogs. If the Lemongrass and Eucalyptus blend does not seem to be powerful enough, then you could add 20 drops of Terrashield to it. If you have a tick embedded in your skin, take a look at how fast peppermint oil works to get the tick to remove its head. The little buggers do not like peppermint oil! According to a new report, tick-borne diseases are on the rise across much of the country. With that being said, it’s important to remain cautious. Watch this video on the power of essential oils.

Thank you, Kristin! We went hiking recently near Mount Tam and pulled 20+ ticks off our dog. Luckily she has a light coat and none had bitten her. Great info, as always!
