Join me, Kristin Osowski, for my 4 Weeks to Better Health program. The objective of this program is to replace the Standard American Diet (SAD) of refined foods and beverages with whole foods. This program will help improve your health and give you the support you need to follow through with your health goals. There will be a lecture on a different health topic each week, along with scrumptious tastings of foods so that you can learn exciting ways to incorporate whole foods into your diet and experience how delicious healthy food can be. This is not a diet. You will not be asked to count calories or grams of fat. This is a lifestyle change, so the changes you make will stay with you and help you throughout your lifetime. Sounds fantastic, right? So what are you waiting for? This is the perfect time to make the change to a healthier and happier you!
4-Week Overview:
Week 1: Create a plan and explore what is stopping you from achieving your goals.
Week 2: Learn how to effectively implement the lifestyle “tools” you are learning.
Week 3: Learn all about sugar, artificial sweeteners, and the glucose-insulin cycle that can wreak havoc on your health.
Week 4: Learn how to self-heal by relieving stress and getting quality sleep. Integrate all you have learned into your everyday life so you continue to get healthier.

Nontraditional Cancer Therapies

8/6/2018

If you are concerned about cancer or you or a loved one are facing cancer right now, I have a couple of resources that I would like to share with you. The first one is a 6-part video series by Dr. Mark Stengler called Beyond Chemo: Outside the Box Cancer Therapies. It takes place from August 7-12 and you can watch this series for free. Simply click this link: https://beyondchemo.org
The other resource is something that I have already previewed and it is amazing!! It is a 10-module cancer coaching program developed by Chris Wark, a 14-year cancer survivor. Chris was diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer in 2003 at just 26 years old. When faced with intimidating odds of survival, Chris did the unthinkable: He turned down chemotherapy and radiation. His doctors actually said he was “Insane”, and he had very little support, even from family. But he knew he had to take a different path to restore his health. His rationale was: "If my body created it, maybe my body can heal it..."And he was right.
Today, over 14 years later, Chris is alive and well, and cancer free, and he’s sharing how he and many others he’s coached have healed with nutrition, spiritual and mental healing, supplements, and other natural interventions you can do at home. Chris created a powerful 10-part video series called…
The SQUARE ONE: Healing Cancer Coaching Program

And you can watch all 10 Modules FREE online during the month of August.  This is typically a course you have to pay for, but Chris is offering it for free from August 14-23rd. Just sign up using the link above.

Candida Summit

7/9/2018

Many types of fungi live in and on the human body, including some called Candida. At normal levels, Candida is not an issue. However, when it begins to grow uncontrollably, it can lead to certain common symptoms including gas, bloating, cramps, chronic sinus infections, nail and toe fungus and joint pain.
Evan Brand, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, is hosting the Candida Summit from July 9-15th.  "Candida is never just a single issue, but rather a result of dysfunction that can occur in the various body systems, such as your adrenals, gut and detox pathways. This can lead to autoimmunity of various kinds".
Click on the link below to access the summit. Remember that each day of speakers (about 5 speakers per day) is only available for 24 hours, so if you see a lecture that "speaks" to you, be sure to listen.

Do you or someone you love suffer from an autoimmune disease?

Do you or someone you love suffer from any of the following autoimmune diseases?
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Psoriasis
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Type I Diabetes
  • Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
  • Graves’s Disease
  • Addison’s Disease
  • Systemic Lupus
  • Sjögren’s Syndrome
  • Scleroderma

I have some very important information to share with you regarding autoimmune disease. Dr. Tom O’Bryan, author of The Autoimmune Fix, is replaying his Betrayal Documentary Series. He will discuss ways to kick chronic autoimmune disease into remission. Everyone can improve their health by improving their diet. Nutrition is fundamental because food IS medicine. When you get to the ROOT cause of the disease, you can reverse autoimmunity.

Dr. Amy Myers, author of The Thyroid Connection, believes this whole-heartedly. She says, “No matter how old you are, no matter what your medical history, no matter how lousy you feel right now…no matter what your doctor tells you, no matter what your family and friends tell you, YOU CAN FEEL BETTER”.

This documentary series will empower you to change your habits and improve your health. This is the link to the YouTube series. Hope you enjoy this as much as I have!

New Year, New You

1/3/2018

January is all about new beginnings. We start the New Year off with the best intentions. Many of us make New Year’s resolutions that we are “absolutely going to adhere to this year”, but by the end of January, we have already fallen back into same old patterns. Studies have shown that only 8% of people actually keep their New Year’s resolutions. Weight loss has been recognized as one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, along with staying fit and being healthy. A study done by CBS Philadelphia spells out the warning signs that your health goals are at risk using the acronym CLIFF:
                                                                                                           C – Can’t find the time.
L – Lack a game plan to keep you going.
I –  Ignore your commitment and fall into old patterns.
F – Frustrated with lack of early results.
F – Forget why you started
If you need to lose weight or just want to feel better overall, then I encourage you to get serious. Don’t fall off the CLIFF. Make a strong commitment to take care of yourself in 2018. Join me, Kristin Osowski, for a 4-week program to better health. The objective of this program is to replace the Standard American Diet (SAD) of refined foods and beverages with whole foods. There will be a lecture on a different health topic each week, along with yummy tastings of foods so that you can learn exciting ways to incorporate whole foods into your diet and experience how delicious healthy food can be.
